Aims

Mountaineers for Himalayas Foundation uses its funds to finance the developement of projects related to the basic education of Himalayan children.

These funds are for specific, long-lasting, transparent and immediately effective projects. We prefer to work with local partners, who are the best experts on the local traditions and can guarantee that our actions will respect the custums, culture and way of life of the inhabitants of the area without causing offence.
 
The board members act as witnesses to the undertaken actions visiting these territories at least once a year.
 
Our funds are based on the inicial endowment of 100.000 Euros as well as donations from several enterprises and from private people.
 
Since 2004, MfH produces and sell a calendar. Its profits allow us to continue our current projects and to begin new ones.
